Fintech Big Data Pre- Sales Engineer

About The Position

As a Pre-sales Engineer at Hub, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and adoption of our cutting-edge Secured data fabric platform. You will work closely with our sales team, leveraging your technical expertise to understand the unique needs and challenges of prospective clients and to articulate how Hub can address those needs effectively.


  • Technical Consultation: Collaborate with the sales team to understand the technical requirements of potential clients and provide expert guidance on how Hub solutions can meet those requirements.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Hub’s platform, tailoring presentations to address specific client use cases and concerns.
  • Solution Design: Work closely with clients to design customized compliance solutions that align with their business objectives and regulatory requirements, providing detailed technical proposals and architecture diagrams.
  • Proof of Concept (POC) Support: Lead the execution of proof of concept initiatives, working hands-on with clients to help them test Hub’s solution during POC’s
  • Technical Training: Provide training and support to clients during the pre-sales process, ensuring that they have the knowledge and resources necessary to effectively implement and utilize Hub’s technology.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, engineering, and customer success, to gather feedback from clients and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of Hub’s products and services.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments in the digital space, and share insights with clients and internal stakeholders to drive thought leadership and innovation within the organization.


  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role, preferably in the fintech or cybersecurity sector.
  • Hands-on development or integration experience - a must
  • Experience working with global clients.
  • Deep understanding of data management technologies, concepts, and tools- a must
  • Knowledge and experience with relational databases, data integration, business intelligence, and big data solutions - a must 
  • Knowledge and experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions - an advantage
  • Fintech-related experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A proven track record of driving successful pre-sales engagements, including leading POC initiatives and delivering compelling product demonstrations.
